[EVENT] Murray Uniforms on building employee, public and consumer brand trust

Building Trust: The cornerstone of business success Featuring guest speakers from Nestle, Microsoft, Card Factory, Iceland, and more.

In today’s ever-evolving business landscape, trust has emerged as the cornerstone of successful enterprises. For companies, trust is essential in forging long-lasting relationships, fostering brand loyalty, and maintaining a stellar reputation.

For consumers, trust influences purchasing decisions, brand advocacy, and overall satisfaction. Recognising this, Murray Uniforms is committed to embedding trust through every aspect of their operations.

We spoke to Andy Bass, Business Development & ESG Director at Murray Uniforms, to find out more about how they have built such a trustworthy reputation.

Bass underscores the company’s dedication to trust through rigorous quality assurance and exceptional customer service.

“Our returns rate is incredibly low, between 0.03% and 0.05%, reflecting our commitment to quality,” says Bass. This commitment extends beyond product quality to understanding and meeting client needs, leveraging Murray’s century-long heritage.

“Having been in the business for over a century, we deeply understand the needs of our clients. This long-standing history means we have honed our skills and knowledge, allowing us to choose the best materials that will fit well and last long,” explains Bass. “Our family history and commitment to quality shine through in our partnerships, ensuring that we develop products that truly meet the specific needs of each client. We see ourselves as partners rather than just suppliers, and this approach fosters strong, lasting relationships.”

Murray Uniforms also focuses on sustainability, employee well-being, and inclusive design. Their sustainability programme reclaims 40% of uniforms produced at the end of their life cycle, ensuring they are repurposed and reused. They also enhance employee well-being through initiatives like developing menopause-friendly uniforms, demonstrating their commitment to meeting the specific needs of their workforce. Murray also collaborated with expert Sarah Wilshire to produce a white paper on the subject.

Murray Uniforms is set to host an upcoming event focused on the pivotal role of brand trust from the perspectives of employees, the public, and consumers.
