Eurochange opens first branch in Wales
Independent foreign exchange retailer Eurochange has expanded its operation into Wales with the opening of a new branch in Cardiff.
The store at St David’s Shopping Centre will be the company’s 100th as it focuses on high street and shopping centre locations.
Eurochange has accelerated its expansion in the UK since it was acquired in 2014 by British ATM business Notemachine UK.
The company is expecting to serve more than 2 million customers, recruit 100 new staff and exceed 120 branches by the end of 2015. There also plans to open a further branch in Wales and to expand into Scotland.
Giles Custerson, managing director of Eurochange, said: “2014 was a great trading year for us in terms of expansion and development as a well-respected high street retailer.
“We are a fast growing company and the opening of our 100th branch with our first step into Wales highlights our commitment to reach as many people as possible with a quick, reliable and efficient travel money service, whether as holidaymakers or business travellers.”
