Escada debuts first transactional website

Womenswear brand Escada has launched its first transactional website.
Having made its debut on 8 March in the company’s home country of Germany, the site is also available in Austria with other European countries to follow throughout the year.
Selling clothing and accessories from both the mainline Escada collection and the Escada Sport sub-brand, the site offers customers express shipping and a free 14 day returns policy.
Escada chief executive Bruno Sälzer said: “Digital engagement is more and more important for the image of a brand.
