EE launches first Experience store in the South West
EE is launching its first Experience store in the South West of England at Bristol’s Cabot Circus.
Part of a £6 million investment, the new shop has been designed to help customers visualise their connected lives across the four key areas of work, home, learn and game through designated experience zones and a tech home area.
Shoppers will be encouraged to get hands-on with the latest connected technology in an immersive space and get face-to-face advice and guidance on a range of different connectivity and technology solutions for their needs.
Asif Aziz OBE, retail director at EE, said: “As part of our commitment to support Britain’s high streets through innovative, experience-driven retail concepts, we have pledged to invest £6 million in ten new Experience stores over the next year, with Bristol being the first location to open in the South West.
“Our ambition is to be the most personal, customer-focused brand in the UK. With our new Experience store, we’re bringing this to life, sharing the latest innovations with the local community in Bristol and helping them to visualise their own personal connected lives in store.”
Former England rugby player Ugo Monye will attend the opening at 12pm on Thursday 2 May. Throughout the day, EE will be offering visitors exclusive in-store deals and offers, as well as range of entertainment.
The Bristol store opening is part of the new retail strategy announced by EE in June 2023 when it launched the EE Studio store in Westfield London. Featuring an immersive digital spa to support customers’ wellbeing and a gaming zone, the innovative new space has resulted in footfall rising by 250% compared to the previous EE store at the location.
