Ebay appoints new fashion director
Ebay has appointed Amanda Metcalfe as director of fashion inventory and assortment. Metcalfe joins Ebay from the designer discount fashion e-tailer Cocosa.com where she was marketing director.
With extensive experience in multi-channel retailing, Metcalfe began her career with Selfridges in the mid 1990’s working on its strategic re-positioning and brand re-launch. She then worked at Laura Ashley during a period of major international expansion working extensively in the US and Europe, and has held a number of senior multi-channel roles at Debenhams. More recently, she specialised in online retail holding marketing director positions at discount fashion e-tailer koodos.com, and luxury fashion site my-wardrobe.com.
