Dyson takes first step into the world of wet line styling products

Dyson has taken its first step into the world of wet line styling products with the launch of a pre-style cream and post-style serum.

Also marking the technology brand’s first move into ingredients research, the products have been designed complement Dyson’s hair tools.

Powered by chitosan, a complex macromolecule derived from oyster mushrooms, the Dyson Chitosan Pre-Style Cream has been created to prime and conditions hair while reducing frizz and enhancing shine.

Meanwhile, the Dyson Chitosan Post-Style Serum aims to lock in styles with hydration and a protective shield against humidity.

Each product comes in four varieties tailored to different hair types and incorporates specific ingredients such as grape seed oil and argan oil to meet various conditioning needs.

Kathleen Pierce, president of beauty at Dyson, said: “Our engineers have rigorously tested to find the optimum percentage of chitosan for all-day, flexible hold, while maintaining natural movement.”
