Dune appoints new international director

Fashion shoe retailer, The Dune Group, has appointed Mohamediqbal Yacoobali as international director.

Yacoobali joins Dune from the Landmark Group, where he was general manager with responsibility for the chain of Shoe Mart stores and franchises for Kurt Geiger and Steve Madden.

Dune’s chief executive John Egan said Yacoobali’s appointment coincided with the retailer’s ambitious international growth plans to build Dune into a “major global brand.”  The Dune Group has recently opened a fifth store in Russia.
