DSGi to sell Dell pc’s
Dell will soon start selling its notebook and desktop computers in DSGi boosting its presence in Europe.
The agreement includes stores in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Greece, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland.”This partnership with DSGi means that consumers in nearly all major European countries can purchase Dell products through these stores,” said Mark Ormerod, vice president and general manager of Consumer Business for Dell’s EMEA operations. “To maximize choice, Dell is offering a full portfolio of our award-winning products – from our high-end gaming systems, to notebooks and desktops that are perfect for everyday computing.”
The agreement with DSGi will increase Dell’s worldwide presence to approximately 10,000 stores. In the past few months Dell has formed agreements with Best Buy, Staples and Wal-Mart in the United States and Carrefour in Europe.
