Dreams announces changes to leadership team

Bed retailer Dreams has appointed Jo Martin to the role of chief marketing officer and promoted Kal Singh to the position of chief operating officer.

Both executives will report directly to Jonathan Hirst, who officially takes over as the retailer’s chief executive on 1 January.

With 30 years’ retail experience, Martin previously worked with Sally Salon Services where she was European marketing director. Prior to that, she held head of marketing roles at B&Q and Asda.

Meanwhile, Singh has been working with Dreams since 2019 as supply chain and distribution director. The role of chief operating officer was previously held by Hirst. Dreams said Singh has played a crucial role in future proofing Dream’s supply chain and enhancing its distribution capabilities.

Hirst added: “We are at the start of an exciting new chapter for Dreams and Jo and Kal have exactly the experience, expertise and values we need to drive our business and brands forward.”
