Domino’s Pizza appoints CFO designate and non-exec director
Domino’s Pizza Group has appointed Sean Wilkins, the former general manager of supermarket finance for the Coles Group, as its chief financial officer designate.
Joining Domino’s on 18 November, Wilkins will work closely with the company’s current chief financial officer, Lee Ginsberg, until a formal handover following his retirement at the company’s AGM in 2014.
Meanwhile Domino’s has also appointed former Halfords chief executive David Wild as a non-executive director. Wild is senior independent director of the remuneration committee at Premier Foods and prior to Halfords held senior roles at Walmart, Tesco and RHM Foods.
Commenting on the appointments Domino’s chief executive Lance Batchelor said: “I am delighted to welcome Sean to the CFO designate role and look forward to working with him to drive the Domino’s business forward across our markets. The UK and Irish businesses have so much growth ahead and with the added opportunities in Germany and Switzerland it is very exciting to have hired such a high quality CFO designate to the board.
“We are also very pleased to have David joining in a non-executive capacity. His food and European operational experience will help us as we continue with our stated strategy across all our markets.”
