Dom McBrien departs New Look to join M&S

Marks & Spencer has appointed New Look e-commerce director Dom McBrien as its new multi-channel trading director.

In his new role McBrien will be responsible for Marks & Spencer’s day-to-day multichannel operations. A starting date has yet to be confirmed.

McBrien will work with the existing M&S multichannel team including David Walmsley, multichannel development director, and Susan Aubrey-Cound,  new channel development director.

New Look has seen a number of executives depart in recent months including group marketing director Joe Irons who in August left to join Monsoon.

The fashion retailer has strengthened its multi-channel offering during the last year with the development of a series of mobile campaigns. Last month New Look reported a 500% increase in mobile sales.
