Digital View spotlights retail media solutions

i-vu network continues rollout
June 11 2003
Screen media solutions specialist Digital View is showcasing its in-house specialist knowledge to advise on every aspect of implementing a digital media network.

Digital View combines media sales, campaign and content creation, as well as supplying media systems, on-line support and the hardware necessary to provide targeted, entertaining and above all effective digital solutions.
The company has just announced it will be rolling out a further bespoke designed 140 wireless screens for i-vu, the world’s first interactive one-to-one audio visual network.
The first i-vu screens have proved so popular to both advertisers and consumers alike, that the growth of the network has effectively been accelerated throughout 15 of the UK’s leading hair salon chains to cope with the demand.
The company is well on the way to reaching its target of 850 screens by the end of the year, which will make it the biggest wireless screen network in the world.
The screens run 45 minute loops of fashion items with Fashion Television Programme, ITN news editorial, salon promos and advertising, and the network launched with an impressive client list, including Audi, IPC’s NOW magazine and L’Oreal Professionnel.
Richard Cobbold, managing director of Digital View, said: “The i-vu network is exciting because it has advanced rapidly in such a short space of time. It is an innovative and progressive concept, which we believe will act as a template for screen advertising networks in the future. The fact that advertisers have been quick to jump on board this opportunity is a testament to the need for highly targeted, accountable media in today’s fragmented advertising market.”
