Depop appoints Francois Callens as chief operating officer
Depop has appointed Francois Callens as its chief operating officer after expanding his position from chief financial officer.
Since joining the business in 2020, he has been responsible for Depop’s global finance, legal and people functions. His role has also involved working alongside the company’s chief executive Maria Raga and leadership team to set the strategic direction of the company.
Prior to joining Depop, Callens spent over six years at Voyage Prive where he led its international markets, finance, corporate development and legal practice in the roles of international markets managing director and group chief financial officer. His CV also includes a stint at global content financier Anton, where he held the positions of chief financial officer and chief operating officer.
Earlier in his career, Callens was a partner at PwC and also worked with Deloitte and Arthur Andersen.
