Debenhams promotes Ross Clemmow to e-commerce director role
Debenhams has promoted Ross Clemmow to the role of e-commerce director.
Since joining Debenhams in July 2013, Clemmow has been working as divisional trading director of e-commerce where he oversaw a website migration and pushed forward the department store’s multi-channel strategy.
Prior to Debenhams, Clemmow held senior marketing roles at Argos and was head of strategic development at Home Retail Group.
Commenting on the appointment, Debenhams chief executive Michael Sharp said: “Ross has made an excellent contribution to our online offer since joining Debenhams last summer.
“Online retail sales are increasingly important to Debenhams and in his new role, Ross will continue to develop our digital proposition and help support our strategy of becoming a leading international, multi-channel brand.”
