Debenhams opens new store at Leamington Spa
Debenhams has opened a new 40,000 sq ft department store at the Leamington Shopping Park.
The new store was officially opened by Julie Hampton, a long serving member of the Leamington Spa and Kenilworth Multiple Sclerosis Society, after she was chosen by Debenhams as part of a local hero competition.
Robert Hadfield, director of property for Debenhams, said: “We were really impressed by the quality of the retailers and environment at Leamington Shopping Park. We are delighted to be opening the store before Christmas and it follows our strategy of securing the right store in the right market.”
Leamington Shopping Park is situated half a mile south of Leamington town centre. The park is owned by Gibraltar Limited Partnership, which is a joint venture between Hercules Unit Trust and The Crown Estate.
