Debenhams opens first store in Georgia

Debenhams is continuing its international expansion with the opening of its first ever store in the former Soviet republic of Georgia.
The retailer opened an 11,300 sq ft store at the weekend on a former Peacocks site in the state capital Tbilisi.
Arranged over three floors, the store will sell a range of clothing for men, women and children and will include designer brands such as Henry Holland, Editions, Jasper, Duffer and Ben de Lisi.
The new store was opened with Gortenzia, Debenhams’ partner in Georgia, and is the 70th international opening for the department store.
