Dawsons Music joins BBC Music Introducing Live 2019

Dawsons Music is to join the list of partners at this year’s BBC Music Introducing LIVE.

The musical instruments retailer will host the Studio Excellence stage and arrange demonstrations and talks from world class recording engineers from the BBC and Abbey Road. This will also include the team from Dawsons Music’s marketing and ecommerce departments interviewing a range of artists, DJs, and industry figures.

Jack Ward, head of marketing at Dawsons Music, said: “As part of our commitment to supporting artists and musicians throughout their music career, we feel that partnering with BBC Music Introducing LIVE offers the perfect opportunity to engage with younger artists, DJs, producers – an audience who in the past may not have seen Dawsons as their go-to resource for music-related gear and information.”

Meanwhile, Dawsons Music’s education department will be occupying the exhibition hall and promoting all things related to music education throughout the three-day event. This will include offering advice to students and educational organisations on musical instruments, audio equipment and the design and installation of music studios.

Dawn Hayward, head of education at Dawsons Music, added: “We boast a wealth of knowledge in designing and installing music ICT suites, performance areas and recording studios around the world. With partners both locally and globally, we are keen to promote music education at all levels to both student and teachers alike and working with BBC Music Introducing LIVE gives us a fantastic platform to spread our message.”
