Cribbs Causeway hosts Bristol Fashion Week

The Mall at Cribbs Causeway has launched ticket sales for the Bristol Fashion Week. The bi-annual event, which features 18 ticketed fashion shows, has boosted footfall by around 12% in previous years, and created footfall spikes at the participating stores.

Exit surveys also found that 94% of ticket holders said they intended to try on items seen in the show.

The fashion shows will be hosted by TV fashion stylist Mark Heyes and celebrity hairdresser Andrew Barton.  At the end of each show the audience is tempted into the shopping centre with giveaways and complimentary goody bags.

Ticket sales for the event, which is supported by M&S and John Lewis, will raise more than £50,000 over the five days.

Maria Crayton, head of marketing at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway said: “We provide ‘As seen in BFW’ hanger tags for the retailers to use on all the garments that are in the show – to ensure customers can find the clothes they have seen and liked. And the shoppers clearly like the shows themselves too, with 73% of audience members at our last event having been to a Bristol Fashion Week show before.”

Bristol Fashion Week will run from 21 to 25 September.
