COS to open four US stores later this year

Fashion retailer COS is to expand further in the US with the opening of four new stores later this year.

COS made its US debut last year by opening an online store and two shops in New York and Los Angeles.

2015 will see COS open a 3,357 square foot store on New York’s 5th Avenue and a 4,122 square foot store in the South Coast Plaza luxury shopping centre in Costa Mesa, California.

COS is also planning to launch two stores in Boston and Houston.

Marie Honda, COS managing director, said: “We are very pleased with the brand’s growth since our launch in the US in 2014 and we look forward to introducing COS to new neighbourhoods and cities this autumn/winter.”

COS launched on London’s Regent Street in March 2007 and now has 125 stores in 26 countries in Europe, Asia, the US, Australia and the Middle East. It also retails online to 19 markets.

COS has previously announced its intention to expand into Canada with stores set to open in both Montreal and Toronto later this year.
