COS to extend presence in London and South East
COS, the H&M owned fashion retailer, is to open a new store in the Bentall Centre in Kingston-upon-Thames this autumn as part of plans to grow its presence in London and the South East.
The retailer will take 6,600 sq ft of retail space on the first floor of the Bentall Centre, adding to the centre’s other recent signings which include Oliver Bonas and Gilly Hicks.
COS plans to open a total of three stores in London and the South East this year with the other new shops to launch in Canary Wharf and Kings Road.
The Bentall Centre, which is co-owned by Aviva Linked Property Fund and Meyer Bergman, is currently undertaking a £3.25 million refurbishment programme to transform its Clarence Street entrance and create additional retail and food space due to finish at the end of October.
Never Miss a Retail Update!Marie Honda, COS head of brand, said: “Since launching the brand six years ago in London, we have been very pleased to have received such a positive reaction from customers.
