Darty’s revenue grew by 11.4 per cent in local currency, 9.6 per cent on a like for like basis. Chief Executive Jean-Noel Labroue commented ‘In positive market conditions the Group delivered a good revenue performance,

Despite sales of white goods returning to positive growth, the product margin trends observed in the first half continued.
‘As always our full year results are dependant on the peak December / January period, particularly in the UK. Although consumer confidence is expected to remain robust in the short term, we have seen a slowdown in the rate of growth towards the end of the quarter.’
