Co-operative Pharmacy appoints new operations director
The Co-operative Pharmacy has appointed Tim Davies as operations director.
Davies joins the Co-op from primary care company Assura where he was managing director of its pharmacy division. Previously, he held a number of operational and general management roles at Boots.
In his new role, Davies will be responsible for The Co-operative Pharmacy’s branch network and its estate portfolio including new branch openings and relocations.
Davies, a qualified pharmacist, said: “This is an exciting time to be joining The Co -operative Pharmacy and I am delighted to be working for a business that is not only renowned for its ethical credentials but, as part of a wider Group, presents such a range of opportunities. Co-operative Pharmacy managing director, John Nuttall, said: “Tim has a vast understanding of the pharmaceutical and retail industries having started his career as a pharmacist, progressing to senior management roles via a number of different business areas. He will be an asset to the team.”
