Clayton Square shopping centre sold to InfraRed Capital
Land Securities has sold its Clayton Square shopping centre in Liverpool to InfraRed Capital Partners for an undisclosed sum.
Tenants at the 17,000 sq ft centre in Liverpool city centre include Clas Ohlson, Body Shop and Vision Express. The centre has an annual footfall of around 7 million.
Christopher Huxtable, director at InfraRed, said: “The purchase of Clayton Square consolidates our position in Liverpool’s central retail market and adds to our growing portfolio of UK shopping centres. We are pursuing further acquisitions of well-located centres within strong retail markets that require intensive asset management and repositioning.”
Other shopping centres owned by InfraRed Capital include The Galleries in Bristol and the Castle Mall Shopping Centre in Norwich.
