Clarins brings festive elegance to Selfridges
Retail design agency Sheridan & Co has marked thirty years of working with Clarins by completing work on a Christmas promotion for the beauty brand at Selfridges department store.
The concession at the store in London’s Oxford Street is the best performing Clarins outlet in the world. Working alongside Clarins’ designers, Sheridan & Co was asked to create a concept which reflected the core values of the brand, featuring a blend of clean, crisp lines, with simple but stylish structures.
The centrepiece is a 7ft 4-inch acrylic Christmas tree decorated with baubles, which are suspended within circular cut-outs. Miniature versions of the acrylic tree also feature throughout the concession.
Michael Sheridan, chairman and founder of Sheridan & Co, said: “As we celebrate three decades of being in business ourselves, we also mark 30 years of working alongside Clarins. It seems fitting that we’ve been able to collaborate on what is an extra special shopping experience during this significant year.
Never Miss a Retail Update!“Every brand wants to go big at Christmas, but the danger is that brand identity can get lost amongst all the glitz and sparkle. Savvy retailers like Clarins manage to do it in a way that really showcases their brand identity and values, and this Christmas is no different.
“From the minute the consumer approaches the concession, they know they’re in for a premium Christmas shopping experience.”
Sheridan & Co first began working with Clarins in 1983 when the firm built the beauty brand’s first-ever retail site in House of Fraser. Other names in Sheridan & Co’s beauty and fragrance client portfolio include L’Oréal, Estée Lauder, Procter & Gamble and Elizabeth Arden.
