Cheap Monday opens digital pop-up shop

Cheap Monday, the Swedish fashion brand, has taken an unusual step in the fashion world by opening a digital pop-up store on its website to enable its Facebook fans to see and shop for items from its Spring/Summer 2013 collection before its fashion show.

Named the Cheap Monday Sneak Peek Shop, the online shop uses Tictail’s “Exclusive Access” login feature that allows only Facebook fans access to the store with a special code.

Carl Waldekranz, CEO of Tictail, said: “The Cheap Monday Sneak Peek Shop is a unique example of how sales can actually increase customer loyalty.

“Our number one focus has always been to create an e-commerce solution that not only lets you set up shop, but also helps you sell more and get closer to your consumers. Exclusive Access is one of the ways we’re allowing brands to build customer loyalty while driving sales.”

The Cheap Monday fashion show will be live-streamed on 28 August during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Stockholm. After the fashion show, the Cheap Monday Sneak Peek Shop will opened up to all customers.
