Charity Retail Association names Martin Blackwell as new CEO

The Charity Retail Association has appointed Martin Blackwell as its new chief executive.
He will succeed Warren Alexander who is retiring.
Due to take up his new role in January 2015, Blackwell will join from the Association of Town & City Management where he was development director for six years and chief executive since 2010.
Previously, Blackwell was chief executive of Action for Market Towns after 20 years spent in the retail sector.
