Centre:MK signs up three retail brands
The Centre:MK shopping centre in Milton Keynes has announced three retail signings.
Mattress and pillow brand Tempur has chosen the shopping centre as the location for its second full line store in the UK. The 2,500 sq ft unit, which is situated adjacent to Leslie Davies and John Lewis, will open in time for Christmas.
In addition, footwear brand Dr Martens has signed for a 2,000 sq ft store while bookseller The Works will upsize into a new 2,500 sq ft unit. Both stores are situated on Centre:MK’s Silbury Arcade and will also open for Christmas.
Commenting on the signings Gavin Murray, asset manager at Hermes Real Estate Investment Management, said: “Momentum at thecentre:mk is gathering pace as awareness of the centre’s dominance of such a strong catchment continues to grow. To have secured only the second Tempur in the UK is a great reflection of the industry’s increasing focus on thecentre:mk.”
