Centre:mk appoints centre director
The Centre:mk shopping centre in Milton Keynes has appointed Kevin Duffy as its new centre director.
Duffy has won international and BCSC Awards for a number of locations and his previous experience includes roles as general manager at Trinity Leeds, director of Cabot Circus in Bristol, project centre manager at Westfield Stratford, and centre manager at Westfield Derby.
Centre:mk, which is jointly owned by Hermes Investment Management and AustralianSuper and managed by CBRE, has seen a number of new openings recently including Tiger, Jigsaw, Smiggle and Menkind. In addition, footwear brand Clarks opened a refurbished store with a new brand concept in April.
Ed Sellick, asset manager at Hermes Investment Management, said: “Centre:mk is a highly successful retail and leisure destination playing a key role regionally and locally. As such, it requires inspirational leadership, which Kevin brings in abundance. His experience is extensive, as is his track record of delivering significant success, both commercially and amongst the communities in which he has worked. We are very excited to be welcoming him to the team.”
