CDS Superstores appoints Sam Davies as chief supply chain officer
The Range owner CDS Superstores has appointed Sam Davies to the newly created position of chief supply chain officer as it works to drive its next phase of growth.
Having joined the business this month, Davies previously worked with Amazon for ten years, most recently as director of operations.
Prior to that, he worked with Morrisons as manufacturing and operations launch manager for the supermarket’s online grocery business.
Commenting on his appointment, Davies said: “CDS Superstores is one of the most exciting retailers operating at present with great plans for the future. I’m looking forward to helping the business to reach its full potential.”
Last month, CDS Superstores acquired the Homebase brand name, intellectual property and 70 stores after the retailer entered administration.
