Carrefour stores to begin selling Dell PCs across Europe

Dell will sell PCs at Carrefour stores in Europe next year.

Notebook and desktop computers will go on sale at 365 stores in France, Belgium and Spain on Jan. 15, Dell said. Carrefour, which operates more than 12,500 stores in 30 countries, will be the first mass retailer in Europe to carry Dell personal computers. Dell now has deals with retail chains operating in the world’s 10 biggest economies in an effort to reverse the company’s reliance on phone and Internet sales.
