Card Factory teams up with Just Eat to offer on demand gifting

Card Factory has teamed up with Just Eat on a trial of on-demand delivery from selected stores.

The exclusive partnership is initially being run across 19 sites in places like Lewisham, Belfast, Cardiff, Glasgow and Manchester, before being extended to an additional 21 shops later this year.

Card Factory is making 200 products available on the Just Eat app including greeting cards, candles, balloons, gift bags, key rings, confectionery and stationery.

With over 1,000 stores across the UK and Ireland and an international presence, the retailer is building its an omnichannel offer by expanding retail partnerships and extending its digital reach.

Unique proposition

Sam Davies, executive digital director at Card Factory, said: “Celebrating life’s moments is an important part of the way we live, so we want customers to be able to interact with us in whichever way they choose, whether that’s in store, online, or through one of our partners.

“Delivering great value, choice and convenience is key to Card Factory’s growth strategy, and through our partnership with Just Eat, we look forward to bringing our unique proposition to more customers in more places.”

Amy Heather, Just Eat UK strategic accounts director, added: “As we expand further into the retail space, this exclusive partnership with Card Fctory signals our commitment to serving customers whenever, and wherever, they need us. Through our extensive delivery network we’re working to make gifting and celebrating as convenient for consumers as ordering a takeaway.”
