Card Factory hires chief commercial officer
Greeting cards retailer Card Factory has appointed Adam Dury as its chief commercial officer.
Dury previously worked for 14 years with Tesco, most recently as category director for general merchandise. Prior to that, he was head of merchandising at Marks & Spencer.
His new position will involve him being responsible for Card Factory’s commercial strategy. This will include the supply chain, shopping experience and the ongoing development of the retailer’s product range.
Karen Hubbard, Card Factory chief executive, said: “I am excited that Adam will be joining us as our new chief commercial officer. He has an excellent understanding of what customers want and a proven track record of delivering it commercially.
“He brings with him a wealth of valuable experience which will benefit us as we continue to improve the range and quality of our card and non-card options and grow Card Factory’s market leading position.”
On 26 August, Dury will also join the retailer’s executive board.
