Canary Wharf Group has exchanged contracts with three new fashion retailers which will be joining the line-up of tenants at the landmark London development.
Women’s fashion store Hobbs will be opening in Canada Place on July 15. Hobbs is developing a new interior concept for the store, which promises to be a striking departure from its image.
Two further retailers are joining Jubilee Place, Canary Wharf’s new mall opening in September. LK Bennett is introducing its blend of elegant and feminine collections. Designer and founder Linda Bennett, dubbed Queen of the Kitten Heel will present a range of directional footwear, clothing and accessories.
Ladies store Whistles will also be bringing its classic tailoring to Jubilee Place, offering a complementary range of fashion including urban and casual wear.
The new retailers follow recent signings including Reiss and Karen Millen. Fashion outlets at Canary Wharf include Phase Eight, Austin Reed and Monsoon as well as high street favourites like Gap, French Connection, Next and Wallis.
Camille Waxer, VP of retail Canary Wharf Group said: “The introduction of such high profile and exciting outlets as Hobbs, L K Bennett and Whistles highlights the fact Canary Wharf is increasingly becoming a highly desirable retail fashion destination.”
Canary Wharf, which includes a mix of prestigious retail and leisure tenants, is currently the focus of interest of a number of potential buyers.
