C&A hires chief sustainability officer

Fashion retailer C&A has appointed Jeffrey Hogue as chief sustainability officer.
Joining the company from his previous position as senior director of global CSR at McDonalds, Hogue will be responsible for leading the global development, coordination and delivery of C&A’s sustainability strategy worldwide.
He will also become the corporate ambassador for C&A’s sustainability programme globally and will be tasked with helping to position C&A as an active promoter of sustainable business development both in the industry and wider society.
Hogue will be based in the company’s European headquarters in Brussels in Belgium.
