Burberry has announced that its non-executive director, David Tyler, has decided to step down from the board at the end of the year.
Tyler was appointed as a non-executive director of the luxury fashion brand in June 2002, having been a director of the company since 1997.
He is currently chairman of the Sainsbury’s supermarket chain and chairman of Hammerson.
Sir John Peace, Burberry chairman, said: “I would like to thank David for his immense contribution to Burberry over the years since Burberry’s IPO in 2002. His expertise and judgement have been invaluable.”
