Burberry appoints new non-exec director
Burberry has appointed Fabiola Arredondo as a non-executive director.
Arredondo will also be a member of the luxury brand’s audit, remuneration and nomination committees.
Currently the managing partner of Siempre Holdings, a US private investment firm based in Connecticut, she is also a non-executive director of Experian, Rodale, NPR and the World Wildlife Fund in the US.
Prior to Siempre Holdings, Arredondo held senior operating roles at Yahoo!, the BBC and Bertelsmann AG. She has also previously served as a non-executive director of Saks Incorporated.
Sir John Peace, Burberry chairman, said: “We are delighted to welcome Fabiola to the Board. Her international business experience including in the technology, media and luxury retail sectors will be a great asset to Burberry as we continue to focus on delivering long term shareholder value.”
