Burberry appoints Matthew Key as non-exec director
Luxury goods retailer Burberry has announced that Matthew Key is to join its board as a non-executive director.
Currently chairman and chief executive of Telefónica Digital, the global innovation arm of Telefónica, Key’s previous roles include chairman and chief executive of Telefónica Europe (formerly O2), chief executive and chief financial officer of O2 UK, and chief financial officer for Vodafone UK. Prior to this, he held various financial positions at Kingfisher, Coca-Cola & Schweppes Beverages, and Grand Metropolitan.
Key will join the Burberry board on 1 September.
