Burberry appoints BSkyB CEO Jeremy Darroch as non-exec director
Burberry has appointed BSkyB chief executive Jeremy Darroch as a non-executive director.
Having taken up his board position on 5 February, Darroch has also become a member of the group’s Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
Darroch has been at the helm of BSkyB since 2007 after initially joining the company as chief financial officer in 2004. Prior to Sky, he was group finance director of DSG International (formerly Dixons Group) and spent 12 years at Procter & Gamble in a variety of roles in the UK and Europe. Darroch has also previously served as a non-executive director and chairman of the Audit Committee at Marks & Spencer.
