Brandbank steps up international presence

Brandbank, the provider of product information, images and multimedia for retailers, has announced the opening of wholly-owned subsidiaries in Ireland and the Czech Republic.

The company, whose customers include Boots, Ocado, and Sainsbury’s, is now working with
Tesco in both countries and with the Musgrave Group in Ireland and Makro in the Czech Republic.
The new facilities, to be staffed by local teams, will provide a ‘one-stop shop’ service with the goal of making it easier for retailers and suppliers to aggregate product imagery and information into a digital format.
Sean Wilkins, international development director at Brandbank, said: “We see both Ireland and Eastern Europe as strategically important markets and this commitment underpins our investment decision.”
He added: “We’ve grown up in the world’s most developed and sophisticated online shopping market, and we think we can play a big part in Ireland and Eastern Europe by delivering a new level of speed, efficiency, scalability and flexibility to customers who are aiming not just to sell more of their products online but to be smarter about the way they manage their product information and imagery.”
