Bose to open new flagship store in Manchester

Home technology brand Bose is to open a flagship store in Manchester this summer.

Scheduled to open in June, the 1,657 sq ft store at the Intu Trafford shopping centre follows the opening of fellow US retailer Victoria’s Secret and its sister brand Pink at the centre last year.

Situated on the upper level of Regent Crescent next to Scotts, the new shop will be over 80% bigger than the previous franchisee store – Sound of Manchester – and will stock Bose’s full range of multimedia and home entertainment systems, speakers, amplifiers and headsets.

Bose’s Phil Kelly said: “We are pleased to be making our products available within a much larger company owned unit. We felt it was vital that we had a standalone, showcase store in such a key location and are looking forward to unveiling our new store format later this Spring.”

Julian Wilkinson, asset management director at Intu added: “We are constantly striving to offer new, bigger and better stores to our customers, complemented by some of the best leisure facilities in the UK. Bose will be a major pull for technology and music enthusiasts in the region.”
