Boots launches hunt for new finance chief

Howard Dodd to leave high street business
Boots has confirmed that Howard Dodd is to step down from the post of chief financial officer at the health & beauty retailer.

Dood, who joined Boots in 2002, will stay in post until “at least” the company’s full year results announcement on May 19. A search for a successor is underway .
Richard Baker, Boots chief executive, said: “I would like to thank Howard for all his hard work and important contribution to the company over the past three years. I have worked well with him and respect his decision. I wish him well for the future.”
Dodd said: “I have enjoyed the past three years at Boots. I have been considering this decision since the turn of the year. I will now fulfil my commitment to complete this year’s financial results and support Richard in an orderly transition.”
