Booths unveils own blend of tea
29 September, 2015 | by Retail Bulletin
Booths, the North West based food and wine retailer, has produced its own special blend of tea.
The retailer’s founder, Edwin Henry Booth, began as a tea dealer in the 1800s. He travelled far and wide in search of the finest teas to sell from his first shop in Blackpool and his expertise has been passed down the generations to the sixth generation of the Booths family, Henry Booth.
The new Booths Builders’ Tea is a blended black tea from Kenya, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Vietnam.
Henry Booth said: “It’s not just our builders who love a Builders’ Tea. We’ve blended ours at just the right strength to drink all day every day and it’s a tea you’d be proud to serve to anyone, be they builder or baron.”
