Bon Accord & St Nicholas hires new commercial manager

The Bon Accord & St Nicholas shopping centres have appointed Katherine Boyd as their new commercial manager.

Having previously worked in a managerial role at The Disney Store within the centres, Boyd has more than 13 years’ experience encompassing managerial responsibilities, visual merchandising and customer service.

In her new role, she will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with retailers and businesses, exploring new income opportunities, monitoring traders’ sales performance and highlighting advertising and promotional opportunities available at Bon Accord & St Nicholas.

Craig Stevenson, manager of Bon Accord & St Nicholas, said: “We work hard to ensure we are at the forefront of the retail sector and her extensive experience and passion for the industry is a great asset to us. Bon Accord & St Nicholas is continuing to attract big brand names and our future development plans will ensure we remain at the heart of the retail scene in Aberdeen. We are confident that Katherine’s skills and passion will help us maximise our shopping offering and continue to innovate, ensuring our continued success.”

Situated in the heart of Aberdeen city centre’s retail sector, The Bon Accord & St Nicholas centres are home to around 100 stores. Key retailers include Scotland’s largest Next, Aberdeen’s only Topshop and Topman standalone store as well as the city’s largest New Look and River Island shops.
