Bob Willet joins MetaPack as Chairman
MetaPack, the delivery management specialist, has appointed former Best Buy CEO Bob Willett as its new chairman.
The appointment follows the announcement back in May that ex-Tesco CEO Sir Terry Leahy had invested in the business and had taken on the role of advisor to the Board.
Willett has extensive experience within the retail sector having held a number of executive positions within Kingfisher. He has also previously been group chief executive of the Gateway corporation, managing director of Littlewoods stores and the global managing partner for Accenture’s Retail Practice.
Commenting on his appointment Willet said: “My time at Best Buy and Accenture, has taught me the power and benefit of looking at every process through the lens of the customer and maximizing this experience wherever possible. Founded in 1999, MetaPack manages e-commerce and multi-channel delivery systems. for companies such as Debenhams, John Lewis M&S, Asos, DGSi, Mothercare and Aurora.
