Bloom & Wild launches range in Sainsbury’s stores

Online florist Bloom & Wild has launched a range of bouquets in selected Sainsbury’s stores this month to enable it to sell its flowers in a physical location for the first time.

The exclusive collection includes six bouquets that are all packaged in a 100% recyclable and plastic-free flower cone gift bag.

Bloom & Wild has also created an in-store display for the range.

Aron Gelbard, co founder and chief executive of Bloom & Wild, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Sainsbury’s to bring our unique floral designs to selected superstores across the country. At Bloom & Wild it’s our mission to make giving and receiving flowers the joy it should be and the newly developed range, exclusive to Sainsbury’s, features our favourite seasonal and surprising stems, gorgeous scents, signature wild style and bold colour combinations.”

The offering has initially been launched in Sainsbury’s stores in Dulwich, Sydenham, Richmond, North Cheam, Kidlington, Pepper Hill, Kiln Lane, Crayford, Tunbridge Wells, Bybrook, Burpham, Water Lane, Brookwood, Christchurch, West Hove and Calcot.

In addition, stores in London Colney, Fairfield Park, Brentwood, Stanway, Fosse Park, Leamington, Rugby, Shrewsbury and  Durham will begin stocking the flowers later this autumn.

Annette Harris, Sainsbury’s buyer for cut flowers, said: “At Sainsbury’s, we’re always looking for ways to offer our customers new and innovative products at accessible prices so we’re excited to launch Bloom & Wild in store for the first time. The eye-catching display of exclusive Bloom & Wild bouquets complements our own floral range beautifully, and offers customers a great solution for premium gifting this autumn.”
