Bill Grimsey to join Findel board
Multi-channel retailer Findel Group has appointed retail veteran Bill Grimsey as a non-executive director. He will join the Findel board on 1 March, sitting on the audit & risk and nomination committees.
Grimsey has worked extensively in the retail sector having held a variety of senior executive and non-executive roles with Tesco, Kingfisher, Wickes and the Big Food Group. Most recently he was the non-executive chairman of Focus DIY.
David Sugden, chairman of Findel, said: “We are delighted that Bill is joining the Board of Findel. With more than 40 years of experience in the retail sector, his expertise will be invaluable to Findel and will complement the existing skills and experience on the Board as we continue our focus on delivering the Findel transformation.
