BHS.com launches second Christmas range

Online retailer BHS has launched its second Christmas range following the roll out of the first wave of products earlier this month.

New items available include Christmas hampers as well as gifts and home fragrances. The range will be centred on three themes: Winter Wonderland, Alpine Retreat and Glam Christmas.

BHS relaunched in the UK as on online retailer in September with 500 options across lighting, bedroom and bathroom categories.

Since then it has expanded the number of items for sale to include kitchen and dining ranges featuring categories such as electricals, crockery, bakeware, kitchen utensils, glassware and cookware.

On 28 October, the retailer will also launch a range of fashion items across women’s, men’s and children’s wear.

David Anderson, managing director of BHS International, said: “We received a great response to the first wave of our Christmas ranges earlier this month. With this new range we have a fantastic set of fragrances and gift products on offer for our customers as well as being able to roll out the famous BHS Christmas hampers – something I know our customers have been hotly anticipating.”

The retailer said the average order value since launch has been £65, compared to £50 before the old BHS stopped trading in April. In addition, some 40% of visits to BHS.com have been through mobile devices – something that was not available to customers before the previous company went into administration.
