Bestseller launches Only & Sons
Bestseller, the fashion company behind Jack Jones, Vera Moda and Vila, has extended its ONLY brand to include menswear.
ONLY & SONS will initially be launched in Europe through wholesale, retail and e-commerce channels with the collections expected to make their debut in stores from autumn 2014. The first collection will be showcased during Berlin Fashion Week in January 2014.
Anders Holch Povlsen, chief executive and owner of Bestseller, said: “The goal is to create a market-driven, young men’s brand that delivers fashion products of great quality at competitive prices. The foundation will be fast fashion built on a high degree of express and upgraded collections. ONLY & SONS will compete in an increasingly interesting part of the market and I see it as a welcomed addition to ONLY.”
Bestseller has recruited Thomas Baech as brand manager to oversee the new brand. Baech has extensive fashion experience and has previously worked with Bestseller’s Selected brand.
