Bathstore opens first international store
Bathstore has chosen Doha in Qatar as the location for its first international franchise store.
Working in partnership with Manazel International Enterprises, Bathstore has launched a store on Barwa Commercial Avenue.
The store was officially opened by franchise owner Yousif Al Khater alongside Bathstore chief executive Gary Favell and deputy chief executive Dean Weston. Also present at the opening were HE Sheikh Khalifa Bin Jassim Al-Thani of the Qatar Royal Family and British Ambassador to Qatar, Ajay Sharma, who has previously been a UK Bathstore customer.
The store will aim to provide a premium shopping experience in Bathstore’s UK format. As well as offering a range of bathroom suites, brassware, furniture, baths and ceramic sanitaryware, the store also includes a prayer room, children’s area, guest WiFi and meeting room facilities.
Favell said: “This launch marks the next step in Bathstore’s ambitious plans for growth, and we’re delighted to be in business with Mr. Al Khater in opening Bathstore’s first ever international store.”
