Barbara Snoad to stand down as CEO at Theo Fennell

Luxury jeweller Theo Fennell has announced that Barbara Snoad will be standing down as CEO at the end of June.

This is the second time that Snoad has left the company. She resigned as CEO in 2007 but rejoined the company again in 2009 following a disastrous trading period.

The jeweller said that Snoad had been working closely with Theo Fennell and the Board during the last two years to successfully refocus the business. Theo Fennell will take on the role of managing director in the interim period.

The company said it would be continuing to expand both in the UK and overseas and that it was  “performing satisfactorily in all areas”.   However in January it admitted that its full-year results would be “below market expectations”.

Rupert Hambro, Chairman, commented: ”Barbara has been an integral part of a successful turnaround of the business during a challenging period. We are very grateful for the contribution she has made to the Company and wish her all the best.”
